Jimmy John's Sub Shops offer their day old bread for .48 a loaf!
I think they make 2 sandwiches out of a loaf, but at home I make 3. Once home I cut the bread into thirds and store in a ziploc in the fridge. They last up to a week in there.
The "day old" bread makes great sandwiches of course. But I've also made incredible garlic bread, french bread pizza's, even cut it into little toast bites for our New Year's Eve Appetizers!
