Maple Monkey Bread

Sunday morning requires a simple, but yummy breakfast.  This was such a hit with the fam and was easy to make in a rush.

Amazing Maple Monkey Bread

2 small tubes refrigerator buttermilk biscuits OR 1 tube Pillsbury Grands buttermilk biscuits
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
1/2 C. pancake syrup
1/3 C. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 C. chopped pecans, opt.
1/4 C. chopped almonds, opt.
Melt butter and mix in syrup in one bowl.  Combine brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts in a separate bowl.
Put half of each mixture into the bottom of a well greased bundt pan.

Place biscuits into pan forming a ring.  I used 2 cans of the small buttermilk biscuits, so they were pretty close together.  Pour the rest of the syrup and sugar mixtures over biscuits.

Bake in oven preheated to 400 degrees for about 15 minutes.

Turn onto plate before syrup starts to thicken and get super sticky.

But these biscuit are truly amazing.  The kids gobbled them up in seconds and I loved how simple it really was to make.

Thanks to Pinterest for the great ideas as always.  Recipe originally from All Things Delicious
